About the project
An employee points programme is a recognition and compensation strategy in which each employee accumulates points for completing certain company-defined actions, activities or tasks. These points can then be redeemed in the form of gifts.
A gift catalogue should be comprehensive, with different product categories, making it adaptable to different employee profiles. Examples of gifts include branded gift cards, physical products, experiences, and even charity gifts.
Needs
- Create a versatile progress bar with milestone markers that can be seamlessly integrated across different sections of the website.
- Build a comprehensive ranking system that evaluates and categorizes various elements, providing detailed insights and comparisons based on predefined criteria.
- Develop a general filter interface that accommodates a variety of filter options without overwhelming the user.
Technical Challenges
- Implement clear, simple filter controls such as dropdowns, checkboxes, sliders, or search bars.
- Ensure that the filter system works well on mobile devices and adapts to different screen sizes.
- Deal with scenarios where filters result in no matching results or when filters are contradictory.
- Implement keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and ensure that all interactive elements are easily usable without a mouse.
- Guarantee people with different abilities can access, understand, and navigate web content, regardless of how they’re accessing it.
