Download amazing stock photos for free

A stock photograph refers to a photo where the photographer retains ownership, but its use is granted to the buyer through a license.
Thanks to modern times, it’s possible to obtain high-quality photographs for free or at very low prices. This way, you can download them, edit them (or not), and use them for advertising your business.
According to studies, visual content increases the number of people who click on posts shared on social media. Because a high-quality image grabs much more attention than a simple text.

Raw Pixel

I really like this website. It has very beautiful photos and they come in 3 sizes, depending on the type of use you’ll give them. There are many free photos, vectors, and illustrations, and it also offers 2 paid plans to access even more photos.
Pic Jumbo

This is one of my favorites for downloading stock photos. Not only are they organized by categories, but it also has an intelligent search for images with similar features. There are over 4,500 images available for download with the premium version. The license allows for use in both personal and commercial projects.
Gratisography

This website is a community of artists who upload their photos for anyone, with personal or commercial projects, to use. The more than 500 photos are organized by categories, which makes searching easier. The photos themselves are quite unique. Check it out.
Magdeleine

It’s a website with a somewhat smaller catalog but offers very well-edited and less common photos than other sites. They are organized by categories, which makes searching easier. The downside is that you must attribute the credit to the photographer.
Negative Space

This website has a large catalog and allows the use of photos for both personal and commercial projects. They are sorted by categories, which makes searching easier.
ISO Republic

ISO Republic allows you to search for photos by categories, including a special section for wallpapers. You can now also download short videos in high quality. The license permits the use of their material for both personal and commercial projects.
Pixabay

Pixabay is another amazing website. You can find high-quality photos, vectors, illustrations, and videos. The images aren’t edited as beautifully as on some other sites on the list, but they are great for projects where you want to handle color editing yourself. The license allows you to use their material for both personal and commercial projects, with no attribution required.
Pexels

The catalog on this website is impressive, and usage does not require attribution for any type of work. The best feature is that by creating an account, you can add images to a favorites album, and you can download images in 5 different sizes. The downside is that many images are sourced from sites like Pixabay, Unsplash, or RawPixel, so you might spend some time seeing photos you’ve already come across.
StockSnap

Download hundreds of images and use them without attribution for both personal and commercial purposes. It has an enormous catalog organized by categories. The best part is that you can create an account and add your favorites to a personal album, so if you like them but don’t need them right now, you’ll always have them handy.
Unsplash

This website is another one of my favorites. It’s a community of photographers who upload their already edited works, which is why the catalog is so extensive. The use is free for personal projects with attribution to the author, but there is a section for free use in commercial projects. The downside is that there are no categories, only collections. So, finding the perfect photo might take a bit longer than expected.
